AN ARTIST’S
JOURNEY

SHARED MOMENTS AND STORIES

‘Looking at Lyne’s paintings I see something different and magical each time, which takes me deeper into her work. She has a special gift for seeing the beauty in things which makes each painting so different and so unique.’ Art Collector, Sandstone Point Qld

DAILY MOMENTS

The Space In Between is a hidden place where wisdom resides. It separates us physically from the earth while connecting us through intuition and feelings. The globe paintings represent an
abstract celestial body or perhaps they see the beginnings of life from an atom or an egg.

Some are nebulous, waiting to take form, others are more complex with boundless strength.

All suggest a nurturing spirit.

TRAVEL STORIES

Travelling helps us find avenues of the unexpected in all corners of the world. Through my artworks I ask the viewer to walk with me, to unexplored territories, to experience the way nature changes the landscape in so many beautiful ways.

OUTDOOR LIFE

Wherever we travel nature continues to inspire.
My artworks emulate different stages of life. ‘Its what you See’ is about pathways that appear unexpectedly, some so obvious we have no choice but to follow them.

Others are about finding the light at the end of the tunnel. I see the spiritual connection to all things, the cycle of life, the seasons and the wear and tear that reflects change, which is inevitable. .

New Beginnings – Places I have lived and loved.

Growing up on a then isolated island set me up for the homes I have lived in as an adult. I left suburban Brisbane to spend 32 years on a property on a mountain in Tallegalla, in a house we built, isolated, off grid, but with amazing views of Minden Valley.

From there we moved to an acre at Bribie Pines Estate, Ningi. We carved out our lives in both these place making them uniquely ours.
I have had amazing art studios and at Ningi, a gallery. Our next adventure is full circle, back to where I grew up, a beautiful sand island called Bribie Island. I hope you will visit me there to share many of
my future adventures.
